Ports, Past and Present

Introducing our Ports Network | Cyflwyno Rhwydwaith y Prosiect

Sgroliwch i lawr am fersiwn Cymraeg

We’ve been having brilliant conversations on phone and email with people interested in heritage, tourism and community work at all five ports. We’ve now created an online space where we hope some of these conversations can continue and grow: our online Slack network. It’s an easy-to-use, invite-only discussion forum, and will also send you automated emails to keep you updated.

The forum will be a space for people can share tips, stories and ideas with one another across the five ports. You can contribute as much as you’d like, and the only requirement for joining is an interest in ports heritage or tourism (whether as a practitioner, for research, or as a community member).

We’d love to have as many people join as possible, whether or not you’re based at the port. Please email project manager Aoife on aoife.dowling@ucc.ie for an invite and intro to the site.

Rydyn ni wedi bod wrthi mewn sgyrsiau gwych dros y ffôn a’r ebost gyda phobl sydd â diddordeb mewn treftadaeth, twristiaeth a gwaith cymunedol ym mhob un o’r pum porthladd. Erbyn hyn, rydyn ni wedi creu man ar-lein lle rydyn ni’n gobeithio y gall rhai o’r sgyrsiau hyn barhau a thyfu: ein rhwydwaith Slack ar-lein. Mae’n fforwm trafod sy’n hawdd ei ddefnyddio, ac yn gweithio drwy wahoddiad yn unig. Bydd y fforwm yn anfon negeseuon ebost awtomataidd atoch hefyd i roi’r wybodaeth ddiweddaraf i chi.

Bydd y fforwm yn lle i bobl rannu awgrymiadau, storïau a syniadau gyda’i gilydd ar draws y pum porthladd. Gallwch gyfrannu faint fynnoch, a’r unig ofyniad ar gyfer ymuno yw bod gennych chi ddiddordeb mewn treftadaeth neu dwristiaeth porthladdoedd (fel ymarferydd, at ddibenion ymchwil, neu fel aelod o’r gymuned).

Hoffem weld cynifer o bobl â phosibl yn ymuno, p’un a ydych chi wedi’ch lleoli mewn porthladd ai peidio. Anfonwch e-bost at reolwr y prosiect, Aoife, yn aoife.dowling@ucc.ie i gael gwahoddiad a chyflwyniad i’r wefan.
