We have just appointed Bofin Consultancy to form a new tourism business network for business owners and tourism supporting individuals in the port towns.
Mags Boland Murphy, All-Star awarded, accredited and experienced tourism & hospitality consultant, national event manager, business sales, marketing & media professional, established Bofin Consultancy in 2011. The business is based in Blackwater, Co. Wexford, Ireland.
The recruitment of members for this dedicated Tourism Business Network is expected in September with a number of training workshops planned to begin in the last quarter of 2022. These workshops are focused on supporting heritage tourism development at each port and in each tourism business’ marketing undertaking. Included will be positive and progressive topics that will enable members to successfully manage and promote their businesses and the Ports Past and Present outputs more effectively.
Below you will find some of the workshop titles which will give you a better idea of what can be expected from these informative training sessions.
- Use SMART tourism tools and resources to promote your port
- Quality Collaboration for seasonal growth across the waters
- Building a heritage tourism strategy – engage visitors today with stories of yesterday.
- Developing your heritage story with creative and engaging storytelling for marketing magic
The aim of this new network is to ultimately increase the use of natural and cultural heritage among the tourism businesses in the coastal communities and deepen their understanding of how the stories of the past can drive both economic and tourist growth for the future.
