Ports, Past and Present invite you to West Wales Arts Centre for the free launch of new works by author Jon Gower and writer/musician Peter Murphy (with Dan Comerford).
Saturday 25 March – Jon Gower & Peter Murphy/Dan Comerford, from 5.00pm
Jon Gower launches his new book The Turning Tide: A Biography of the Irish Sea, and a pamphlet for Ports, Past and Present, A Flock of Words: Explorations of the Irish Sea. Reception with canapés from 5.00pm, for a 6.30pm start.
This to be followed by Wexford writer Peter Murphy and musician Dan Comerford, who will perform extracts from Peter’s radio play set in Rosslare Harbour: We Have Always Been Your Harbour, a witty and moving audio-literary response to Dylan Thomas’s Under Milk Wood (1954).
