Rosslare Harbour App Walk, May 29, 11am-12pm
May 29 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Explore the history of Rosslare Harbour with the ‘Port Places’ app. Through walking tours, multimedia collections and stories, Port Places provides a range of themed experiences covering the seaports of Fishguard, Pembroke Dock, Holyhead, Dublin and Rosslare Harbour, their local attractions, and the crossings between them. The app allows the user to download their choice of curated experiences, each providing a vision of port life, crossings, creativity, history and heritage.
For Rosslare, the initial offerings on the app are the Welcome to Rosslare Harbour experience and the Rosslare to Fishguard and Pembroke Dock crossings. Join local historian Leo Coy and the Ports, Past and Present team for an exploration of the Rosslare Harbour experience. During the walk we will visit sites of interest and learn how to use the app to navigate the heritage of the area. The trail is suitable for all abilities and is wheelchair accessible.
Please contact Claire Nolan to book your place: clairenolan@ucc.ie – it is advised to book early as places are limited!
