October 7, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 pm

Join our October coffee morning for informal conversation about heritage and tourism across the port towns.

Cyclist and heritage enthusiast Joe Patton will share a 30-minute slide presentation entitled ‘The Sound of Hurry’. This will tell the story of mail crossing the Menai Bridge to Holyhead to meet the packet boat bound for Howth and its final destination, Dublin Castle.

All welcome: email aoife.dowling@ucc.ie for a Zoom link.

Ymunwch â bore coffi ar-lein mis Hydref ar 7 Hydref am 11am. Mae’n boreau coffi bron bob amser yn cael eu cynnal ar ddydd Iau cyntaf pob mis am 11am.

Bydd y digwyddiad anffurfiol hwn yn gyfle i sgwrsio â phobl sydd â diddordeb mewn treftadaeth a thwristiaeth ym mhob un o’r porthladdoedd.

Bydd Joe Patton, beiciwr o Gaergybi sydd â diddordeb brwd mewn treftadaeth, yn rhannu cyflwyniad sleidiau 30 munud o’r enw ‘The Sound of Hurry’. Bydd yn adrodd hanes y post yn croesi Pont y Borth i Gaergybi i gyfarfod â’r llong bost a oedd yn mynd i Howth a’i chyrchfan olaf, Castell Dulyn.

I gael y ddolen Zoom, anfonwch neges ebost at aoife.dowling@ucc.ie. Bydd y ddolen ar gael hefyd drwy ein rhwydwaith Slack. Ymunwch yma.
