March Creative Coffee Morning (Online): A Sea of Stories | Bore Coffi Creadigol mis Mawrth (Ar-lein): Môr o Straeon

Join our cross-coastal coffee mornings for informal conversation about heritage and creative themes across the port towns. The March coffee morning will take place on Thursday, March 3 at 11am.

We’ll have project artist, Robert Jakes, to speak about ‘Sea of Stories’, the ceramic wall mural that he has created at Pembroke Dock ferry terminal. Robert will talk about his inspiration for the mural, the stories it draws on and the process that led to its creation.

Ports, Past and Present is a project led by University College Cork in partnership with Aberystwyth University, the University of Wales Trinity St David and Wexford County Council examining the cultural heritage of the ports in the Irish sea basin. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme.
