June Creative Coffee Morning: Artist Laragh Pittman | Sesiwn Bore Coffi Creadigol mis Mehefin: Arlunydd Laragh Pittman

June 23, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Our June coffee morning will not take place on the first Thursday of the month as the coffee mornings normally do, because we’ll be holding one of our focus group meetings at that time.

Instead, June’s heritage and creative coffee morning will take place on June 23 at 11am. Visual artist Laragh Pittman will speak about her work and the inspiration of the Irish Sea. Laragh uses multiple media to build spaces for dialogue and exploration of the fluid and transcultural nature of life in Ireland today. She is currently working on a visual art project about the transnational site of the container docks in Dublin Port

Email clairenolan@ucc.ie for a Zoom link – all welcome. Please also sign up to our coffee morning network/ mailing list here for regular updates.

Ni chynhelir ein bore coffi ym mis Mehefin ar ddydd Iau cyntaf y mis fel arfer, gan ein bod yn cynnal un o gyfarfodydd y grŵp ffocws ar yr adeg honno.

Yn lle hynny, cynhelir bore coffi creadigol a threftadaeth mis Mehefin ar 23 Mehefin am 11am. Bydd Laragh Pittman, arlunydd gweledol, yn sôn am ei gwaith ac am ysbrydoliaeth Môr Iwerddon. Mae Laragh yn defnyddio cyfryngau lluosog i greu mannau ar gyfer deialog ac er mwyn archwilio natur symudol a thrawsddiwylliannol bywyd yn Iwerddon heddiw. Ar hyn o bryd, mae hi’n gweithio ar brosiect celf gweledol am safle trawswladol y dociau cynhwyswyr ym Mhorthladd Dulyn.

Anfonwch e-bost at clairenolan@ucc.ie i gael dolen Zoom – estynnir croeso cynnes i bawb. Cofrestrwch ar gyfer ein rhwydwaith/ rhestr bostio boreau coffi yma i gael diweddariadau rheolaidd.
