Holyhead Exhibition Launch | Lansiad Arddangosfa Caergybi

We would like to invite you to a launch celebrating work commissioned for our exhibition, Creative Connections across the Irish Sea. The Ucheldre Centre, Holyhead, will be hosting Creative Connections until January 2023, in an exhibition showcasing work created by writers and artists engaged with communities across the five ferry port towns of Holyhead, Dublin, Fishguard, Pembroke Dock and Rosslare Harbour.
Join us from 5.30pm for a buffet reception at the Ucheldre Centre with Marged Pendrell, who will discuss her Fflotila, and Gillian Brownson, who will be launching her children’s book, The Mermaid’s Purse and other Stories in Rhyme.
Accessibility information: There is level or ramped access to all public areas in the Ucheldre Centre, and an accessible lavatory.

Ports, Past and Present is a project led by University College Cork in partnership with Aberystwyth University, the University of Wales Trinity St David and Wexford County Council examining the cultural heritage of the ports in the Irish sea basin. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme.
